A True Taste of The Highlands

The Storehouse at Foulis Ferry is nestled against the backdrop of Cromarty Firth and was set up in 2005 by local couple Quintin and Michelle Stevens who had a shared passion for quality food, goods and service.
Since its beginnings two decades ago it has been a much-loved place to stop becoming a favourite destination in the Highlands for many.
Known for its culinary delights—it’s evident that The Storehouse still reflects the essence of its founder’s dream; to cultivate a friendly atmosphere that celebrates local flavours and traditions while fostering community connections.
Originally a girnal (a large chest or barrel for holding meal, also a granary, a storehouse, especially one belonging to an estate) in the 18th century belonging to the Munro Clan it was lovingly restored to become The Storehouse we now know.

The Storehouse Today

The Storehouse is a vibrant place that houses a self-service eatery full of local delicacies with an adjoining farm shop packed with local produce, spirits, wines and beers. There’s also a charming gift shop showcasing handmade Scottish crafts.
Embracing sustainability and community spirit wholeheartedly with a dash of Highland hospitality thrown, this combination makes The Storehouse not just a mere pit stop but a true tribute to the essence of the Highlands.
